Victory's Mission
Through the work of ALL, we will graduate socially adept students ready to work toward personal and community growth, in Victory!
Our vision, at Victory Collegiate High School, is the belief that education is the most powerful instrument for sparking the revitalization that is essential in our urban communities. We seek to cultivate a productive and diverse community of learners who are willing to take suitable risks, learn from their mistakes, and support each other as we examine social problems, develop social consciousness, and work toward community and personal growth. By adhering to the the cultivation and consistency toward upward academic mobility and academic integrity, Victory's mission towards our students is driven by purposefully preparing them to become responsible citizens for the revitalization of our urban communities.

Will my child get into a 'good' college after graduation?
This is a question we imagine most parents have on their minds at this critical time. Our response is to prepare our students to be "world beaters". Armed with precision tools to make informed decisions about their futures, then consciously electing the path, which will truly have the greatest positive impact in their lives. We believe, wholeheartedly, that the 21st century graduate must be instructed on how to think more deeply rather than what to think.

Nous proposons un programme académique stimulant qui favorise la conscience de soi et de solides habitudes de travail. Nos diplômés sont préparés pour l'enseignement supérieur et les carrières. Nous offrons aux étudiants la possibilité de partager des idées entre eux, avec le personnel et avec la communauté. Nos étudiants participent à un apprentissage par projet et démontrent leur maîtrise grâce à l'évaluation du portfolio académique.
Victory's Advisory Program
All Victory students have an advisory class as part of their coursework. Thus, students will meet every day as part of their curriculum. It consist of a balance of literacy lessons, college and career information, lessons on the following study skills and habits of, mind necessary for academic success.
Students will learn how to ask the right kind of questions, how to speak and how to listen effectively. They will learn how to write for a range of purposes, oral presentation skills and systematically work on vocabulary development.
Activités et autres opportunités
Victory s'est associé à Triad et Project MOVE, pour offrir plusieurs opportunités parascolaires, telles que The Young Entrepreneurs Club, Visual Arts Club, Brothers Break Bread, Girls Generating Greatness, Hey there Beautiful, GEMs, Robotics Club et Teen Momentum Leadership. Entraînement. De plus, Victory offre également aux étudiants des équipes sportives périscolaires en collaboration avec toute l'équipe du campus, les Vikings, dans le Complexe Éducatif de la Rive-Sud.
